The Healer

Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases (Psalm 103:1-3 KJV). The Healer is for real. This man approached Him recently in the most reverent and serious-minded way he knew how. Right in the midst of losing the most important person and best friend he ever knew, he pled with God to heal him. He went after Almighty with passion and purpose. He literally begged Him to touch his body. He had a nasty infectious bite on his hand. Following his wife’s death and the unbelievable shock of losing his eternal love he happened to look down on his hand one day. The Lord had healed the bite wound. The man actually fell to his knees in appreciation, in thanksgiving and actually in awe that God had come through. The Healer is there. He’s more real than one can even begin to fathom. The man had approached the Lord repeatedly, soundly and wholeheartedly. And the Healer worked. He did His masterful, magical and miraculous healing. “Run to Him however you can and urge Him to touch you—-He will,” this man promised. Thankfully the man continued, “Prayer is the most ultimate, unique and unquestionable weapon available to you and me.”
